Since each ring is carefully crafted one at a time, it takes a certain amount of time from purchase to delivery. To avoid the stress of "not making it in time," planning with plenty of buffer is essential. Here's a guide to typical delivery times and how to build a backward-planning schedule.
Typical Delivery Time
In-stock items can sometimes be taken home on the spot, but when semi-order options, engraving, or size adjustments are included, it can take roughly 1 to 1.5 months until delivery (this varies by brand, design, and season). Popular designs or busy seasons may extend this further.
Backward-Planning Schedule by Purpose
- Proposal: Start the process at least 1 month before the anniversary you want to give the ring
- Ring exchange at the wedding ceremony: Aim to receive the rings 2-3 months before the ceremony
- Marriage registration: If you want to wear the rings from day one, arranging early is reassuring
Seasons When Delivery Tends to Take Longer
Spring (March-April) and autumn (September-November), when weddings are common, as well as bridal fair seasons, tend to see a concentration of store visits and orders, which can extend delivery times. If you want to receive your rings during these periods, we especially recommend acting early.
Acting Early Brings Peace of Mind
With plenty of time, the two of you can take your time comparing designs and trying them on, while also securing time for resizing and engraving. For guidance on when to buy, see also our When to Buy Guide.
The Process from Order to Pickup
Generally, the process proceeds as follows: deciding on design and size → placing the order → production → engraving and finishing → pickup. If resizing is needed along the way, this adds additional days. Since confirmation contact often occurs at each step, placing your order during a period when you're easy to reach will help things go smoothly.
