However, this shall not apply where the Company is not obligated to disclose under the Act on the Protection of Personal Information or other laws and regulations.
- Correction of personal information
- If the content of personal information is not true, a User may request the Company, based on the provisions of the Act on the Protection of Personal Information, to correct, add, or delete it (hereinafter "correction, etc."). After confirming that the request is from the User themselves, the Company will, within the scope necessary to achieve the purpose of use, conduct the necessary investigation without delay, make the correction, etc. of the content of the personal information based on the results, and notify the User to that effect (if the Company decides not to make a correction, etc., it will notify the User of that fact). However, this shall not apply where the Company is not obligated to make a correction, etc. under the Act on the Protection of Personal Information or other laws and regulations.
- Suspension of use of personal information
- If a User requests suspension of use or erasure (hereinafter "suspension of use, etc.") of their personal information based on the provisions of the Act on the Protection of Personal Information, on the grounds that it is being handled beyond the scope of the purpose of use announced in advance or was acquired by deception or other improper means, and it is found that the request is justified, the Company, after confirming that the request is from the User themselves, will suspend the use, etc. of the personal information without delay and notify the User to that effect. However, this shall not apply where the Company is not obligated to suspend use, etc. under the Act on the Protection of Personal Information or other laws and regulations.
- Use of cookies and other technologies
- The Company may use cookies and similar technologies to understand usage of the Company's services and to help improve them. Because these cannot by themselves identify a specific individual, the Company does not regard them as personal information. Users who wish to disable cookies can do so by changing their web browser settings. However, if cookies are disabled, some features of the Company's services may become unavailable.
